Herro goes off for career-high 41 points, tying Heat record with 10 3s (2:09)

Tyler Herro tied the Heat franchise record with 10 3-pointers and scored a career-high 41 points in a victory over the Houston. There is a time and a place for it.

Tyler Herro equaled the Miami record with 10 3-pointers and scored a career-high 41 points to lead the Heat to a win over Houston.

A night after making nine 3-pointers and scoring 35 points in a victory at Oklahoma City, Herro became the fourth Heat player to hit 10 3s in a game.

Herro said he didn't know it was the record until he hit nine. I was just trying to get 3s up and not think about tying the record. I believe shooting more 3s helps.

Herro was 13 of 20 from the field. He joined Stephen Curry and James Harden as the only players in NBA history to make at least nine 3-pointers in consecutive games.

The scheme against him has been the last couple of games. It has been open. He is too good of a shooter for us to not take 3s. He has to be aggressive in those opportunities. He is a great shooter. He's able to do it off the dribble and off the catch.

Herro had 25 points in the first half and the Heat led by 14 at the half. The youngest player in Heat history to have a 40-point game was Herro, who was 22 years, 329 days old.

Jimmy Butler had a double-double with 20 points, 10 rebound and 7 assists. Miami has won three in a row.
