Several prominent journalists were suspended on the platform without warning.

The company suspended the account of Mastodon, an open source social media alternative that has gained traction since Musk took over. The account linked to the Mastodon page of ElonJet, a student-made bot that tracks the location of Musk's private jet, was taken down by the social network.

Some of the accounts were suspended because of Mastodon. Mastodon was kicked off the platform before Drew Harwell was suspended.

Olbermann, The New York Times' Ryan Mac, CNN's Donie O' Sullivan, and Matt Binder were all suspended. The reporters covered Musk's takeover of the micro-blogging site.

While he didn't know why his account was taken away, he shared a link to the ElonJet Facebook account in the course of reporting on the matter. Mac pointed out that there was no warning before the permanent suspension when he shared the message he received from the social networking site.

Some folks have asked so will try to answer here:-This is the notification on my account.-I was given no warning.-I have no email or communication from the company about the reason for suspension.
