Stephen Boss, who was a runner-up on Star Search and So You Think You Can Dance, was found dead by suicide on Tuesday. The man was 40 years old.
Stephen Boss was a freestyle hip hop dancer. He competed in So You Think You Can Dance in 2008 and later served as an all star and team captain on multiple seasons. He taught at South County Classical Ballet with Katee Shean.
He made his debut as a DJ on Ellen in 2014, after performing a dance routine on Dancing with the Stars the previous year. Boss was named a co-executive producer by Ellen.
