In the UK, a popular thrill ride went wrong when a huge cord snapped, throwing passengers into a support beam.

Guests on the slingshot ride in London's Hyde Park are catapulted into one of the support beams when one of the cords snaps off.

Guests at the park's Winter Wonderland event immediately start to panic as it smashes and whips around uncontrollably, before dangling by the support of only one cord.

The riders were taken off the ride after being checked by medics. An investigation is taking place and all other attractions are open.
