You might be tempted to order in Miami if your food is delivered by a robot.

Cartken is a company that makes robot delivery vehicles. There are other places where sidewalk robot delivery is available. In California, it has partnerships with two companies, one in West Hollywood and the other in Santa Monica. Cartken's robot fleet brought the pilot of the food delivery service to Miami.

Downtown Dadeland and Miami's Brickell neighborhood are two of the areas that Cartken currently delivers to. Cartken will expand delivery service to other cities in the future. If it is being delivered by robot, you'll be notified when you place your order.

You can follow the progress of the vehicle with the help of the app.

There is a robot that is the size of a Radio Flyer wagon on the sidewalk. Christian Bersch, Cartken co-founder and CEO, said that they have the chance to reduce traffic congestion, help local merchants to increase delivery capacity, and bring consumers fast, convenient, and emission-free deliveries.

According to its website, Cartken has multiple sensors and cameras that are designed to avoid accidents. Hopefully these can handle traffic better than the one in California.
