Philippa Baines promoted to Explore agency sales manager

Philippa Baines has been promoted to agency sales manager of Explore and Ben Ittensohn will be moving to Brisbane to take on a more global role.

Baines has more than 25 years experience in the industry and began working at Explore in 2012 as a UK trade representative, but left in 2016 to work at WendyWu Tours and Intrepid Travel.

She took up the role of agency sales manager after returning to Explore as a business development manager.

Explore says trade sales have increased by 50%.

Baines said that they have a great relationship with travel agents.

I look forward to leading our agency sales team into this next phase of growth as we move into the future.

At the beginning of next year, it will be moving to Brisbane to help define the organization's trade strategy.

He said that the UK is a key market for Explore.

The changes will strengthen the team and help us deliver on our trade sales strategy.

Pip is the perfect person to lead Explore's agency sales team. The trade sales team will be expanded with plans to be announced early in the next decade.
