Report: Mandy Rose Released by WWE for Posting Content Outside Parameters of Contract

On Tuesday's episode of the show, Rose dropped the title to Roxanne Perez, who went on to win it.

According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, the decision to release Rose was made because of the content on her FanTime page.

Rose posted explicit photos and videos on the page, and the company felt they were not in line with her contract.

Rose was in the middle of one of the most dominant title reigns in the history of the company when she lost the title to Perez on Tuesday.

Rose's reign was the third longest in the history of the women's championship, behind Asuka and Shayna Baszler.

The match between Perez and Rose was supposed to happen at Vengeance Day in February, but when Rose attacked Perez after her promo, Perez challenged her to put the title on the line.

The Ring of Honor Women's World Championship, as well as the NXT Women's Championship, were added to Rose's resume.

Fans were left in shock by Rose's loss and wondered if it was a sign that she would get called back up to the main roster. She was going to leave the company before that happened.

Rose appeared on Tough Enough in 2015. She came from the world of fitness competition and had never wrestled.

She got called up to the main roster as part of Absolution, after landing a contract with the company, and spent time in the NXT developmental program. Rose continued to work with Deville for the next few years despite a neck injury.

Rose formed a tag team with Dana Brooke after she and Deville got into a fight. When they couldn't find success, Rose was sent back to the show.

After only a few months with Toxic Attraction, she won the NXT Women's Championship, which was the best move for her career.

Rose appeared to be destined for big things on the main roster in the future, as she improved greatly in the ring, mic, and character work.

There is a chance that the door could be open for a Rose return in the future.
