After exchanging words with Draymond Green, a fan was thrown out of the game.
A fan with baseline courtside seats heckled Green as Antetokounmpo lined up for two free throws.
The fan made threats to my life.
Green ran back to the other end of the court when the game resumed after a break. He said he nearly got into it with the fan, but kept his cool.
Green told the referee what happened at the next stop. A fan was escorted out of the game by the ref.
The team said in a statement that they were conferring with the NBA about the situation after they were ejected.
Green talked about what happened and how he dealt with it.
He said that some people look at NBA players in a different way. They are this larger-than- life figure. Someone gets fined for saying something back after you come. They have a good time at home with their friends.
It's great when you can hold it in and get to the ref and get them out.
Green had an altercation with a fan in the past. He was fined $25,000 for yelling at a fan.
The league hasn't done enough to ensure good fan behavior and protect players according to Green.
He made it clear that this isn't an issue that the league ignores. He doesn't like the NBA when they jump and fine guys for saying something. It's a license for more people to do it when a guy gets fined.
It would take someone outside of the NBA to change fan decorum.
There are no consequences. You can't come back to the game, or even if you get arrested, nothing really happens, because these leagues can work with legislators to implement laws.
