According to reports, Carlos Correa has no shortage of offers.
At least six teams are interested in the infielder with the Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs having the inside track.
According to MLB Network Radio's StevePhillips, the Twins and Giants were the favorites to win the World Series.
Shortstop was a big focus of the off-season with several players hitting free agency. It may not be a big deal to suggest that Correa will get an even bigger deal than Turner andBogaerts already got.
He is in the middle of his prime at 28 years old and has a World Series title, a Gold Glove and two All-Star selections to his name.
After seven years with the Astros, he joined the Twins as a free agent.
The Twins signed him to a three-year, $105.3 million deal last year, so they're interested in keeping him. It was clear that Minnesota wanted him for multiple seasons, despite the opt out clause in the contract.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale said they pursued him before he joined the Twins. During the winter meetings, Chicago met with Correa, as well as being connected to other people.
Whether Chicago's ownership is willing to commit the kind of money it will take to sign Correa remains to be seen, but the team is clearly looking to add a second baseman.
If that is the case, it will have to beat out the other teams.
