According to CNN, Yoel Roth, the former Head of Trust and Safety, has been forced to flee his home due to an increase in violent threats against him.

Musk's claims include thatRoth used the decision to ban Donald Trump to further the left wing agenda and that he is an apologist for child molesters. Musk's relationship to the far-right has gone from casual flirtation to seemingly effective tools of weaponization.

A number of sensitive topics, including the suspension of Trump, were handled by the head of trust and safety at the time. Trump was not removed from the platform randomly. Four people were killed and dozens were wounded in the January 6 insurrection of the US Capitol Building.

The CEO has used both the Trump-centered episode of the Files and the analysis of youth engagement with the gay dating and hookup app Grindr to play in order to make his point.

Musk said it looked like Yoel was arguing in favor of children being able to access adult internet services in his PhD thesis.

The CEO's reply was in response to the author of an article about the politics of teacher-student sex that was not written. The article doesn't support the abuse and exploitation of children or suggest thatRoth is a pedophile. The decimation of the teams tasked with fighting child sexual abuse on the platform is said to be a result of Musk's takeover.

The replies suggest that the former employee is gay. According to the Anti-Defamation League's Center for Extremism, there has been a spike in harassment, threats and violence against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer community.

In the early days of his acquisition, Musk publicly showed his support for a long time employee. Some people on the internet expressed concern over the fact thatRoth had stated his dislike for Trump in a very clear way. The billionaire came to the defense of Yoel, saying that "we've all made some questionable statements, me more than most, but I support Yoel."

"My sense is that he has integrity, and we are all entitled to our political beliefs," Musk said in the October thread.

The CEO's opinion has changed since the resignation ofRoth.

It's not clear whether Musk is just making noise for the sake of increasing the number of users or if he actually believes his outrageous accusations againstRoth. Not to mention a cautionary tale for any employees who enjoy his favor, Musk's attacks are just one more example of his increasingly erratic managerial decisions.

The former topTwitter official had to leave home because of threats.
