On December 12th, a brand new Condor A330neo was damaged after it hit a building.
The aircraft was being towed when it hit a building. The local planespotters said that the fuel tanks on the wings were the cause of the leaking fuel.
The new A330neos will be used by the company on December 18th. The delivery of the aircraft could be delayed. The wing tip needs to be fixed before the plane can be delivered. It's not clear how long that will take.
The incident has not yet been commented on by Airbus.
“The Condor A330neo, with 1966 serial number, still under the care of Airbus because it has not been delivered to Condor, resulted in damage to the winglet during the operation of a routine trailer on the ground, in Toulouse. At the moment, it cannot be ruled out that there is a delay in its delivery. Because the Airbus investigation is ongoing, there is still no conclusive information.”

In July of last year, the German airline announced that it was going to replace its aging Boeing 767s and some A330ceos with 16 new A330s. Nine of the planes are leased and seven are purchased directly from the manufacturer. The airline asked for two more A330neos for lease a few months ago and now has 18 A330neos on order.
The A330neos will have a brand new interior that will accommodate over 300 passengers, with 30 in Business Class, 64 in Premium Economy, and 216 in Economy Class.
The seats are installed in a 1-2-1 configuration and can be turned into lie-flat beds. Business Class passengers will have direct aisle access and access to the latest movies, series, podcasts, and games, all accessible on a 17.3-inch screen with a touch screen and remote control.
Both the Premium Economy Class and Economy Class seats have in-seat 4K monitors that can be used for entertainment. The seats in these two classes have different seating configurations.
