Kyler Murray was injured in the first quarter and was carted off the field. It was 0: 43.

Kyler Murray was taken off the field on a cart with a knee injury less than 90 seconds into the game.

There is "little doubt" that Murray's knee is torn, according to a source.

Murray's injury doesn't look good, but we will know more in the morning, according to Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury.

It didn't look good, that's for sure. I didn't think it was good that he was in that shape.

Murray went down on the first play of the game. Murray was attended to by the team's trainers and doctors. Before he fell, he wasn't touched.

"If you see a noncontact injury, you know it's worse right away," said the receiver.

That made me feel bad. Kyler put a lot of time and effort into this. I don't like that for him because he's been working hard to get back after the injury. He will get back to himself.

The quarterback's teammates took a knee around him, and the coach was on the field looking at him.

Murray was carted off the field to the locker room with a trainer on his back. Murray was crying as he entered the tunnel on the cart.

Josh Jones said that he was tough because he was in charge of the offense. There is a crazy guy out there. He is able to do a lot. It was difficult to lose him so soon. I hope he is okay. I'm not sure what was going on with him. I hope he is okay.

The backup quarterback entered the game. In Arizona's 27-13 loss to New England, he was sacked six times and threw for 246 yards on 27 of 40 passes.

When Murray was out for two games last month, the team's quarterback was 36 years old. Murray is expected to miss four games for the Cards. He hasn't started at least six games in a season since 2011.

With a week of practice ahead of him, he thinks he's ready to take over the offense.

"You always have to be ready, I've been playing for a long time," he said. You don't want him to go down. You do not. I have had many opportunities in my career. I've been injured. I love the guys that we have and I am thankful to be on this team.

The coach agreed that the player is ready.

He said there was no doubt. He has a good idea of the system. He did some good things tonight. When you don't have the reps during the week, it's hard, but I think he gave us a chance. The plays that were called back, a couple of tough drops and the turnovers put us behind the eight ball.

Murray was the top pick in the draft out of Oklahoma. During the off-season, the 25-year-old signed a $230.5 million contract that could keep him with the team until the year 2028.

Murray has played in 11 games this year. He had thrown for 2,358 yards, 14 touchdown and seven pick ups.

The offense has been hurt by injuries this year. Four of their starting offensive linemen and a tight end are out for the season because of injuries.

"We've battled injuries all year long and the guys that are going to go in there are going to fight until the very end," he said. I would be proud to lead them and I don't think there's anything else you can ask for.
