The company has announced that their search results will load in a continuous scroll. There was a similar change on mobile in October last year. Instead, the results will be loaded into a single scroll and users will be able to see more results.

It seems safe to assume that additional markets and languages will be added over time as a result of the roll out of the feature on mobile.

The change is similar to the design of most social media feeds, where new content is continuously loaded as you scroll down a page. It should make it less important for websites to be on the first page of search results in order to be searched quicker. Most people will usually browse up to four pages of search results.
