Gaga's dog walker Ryan Fischer was walking her dogs in Los Angeles in February of last year when Jackson and his associates drove around the area. Frenchies are a popular and expensive dog breed that can fetch thousands of dollars per dog. Two of the dogs were shot by Jackson when he stole them. He was in a critical condition at one point. Police said that Gaga wasn't the target of the sting and that her celebrity connection was a coincidence. Gaga offered a $500,000 reward to find her pets, and they were returned to her by a woman who said she found them, though she was charged with being an accessory after the fact.
