The revised language on the company's website states that daytime data caps will be in effect in February. The company said they would kick in sometime this month. They will be a little bit later than expected.

The data caps appear to be the same. Starlink customers will have priority access to the data every month. The data from 7AM to 11PM will be pulled from the priority access pool. If you go over your Priority Access allocation, you can either pay for more data or pay less for the rest of your billing cycle.

Residential customers will be able to purchase additional data at 25 cents per gigabyte. You can see the allocations and costs on Starlink's website. The RV, Portability, and Best Effort tiers don't have priority access data.

Data caps are delayed by internet service providers. The most recent delay means that the data caps won't be in place this year. The data caps are in place for some other customers.
