Shein will spend fifteen million dollars on improvements to its suppliers. According to The Guardian, a report in the UK found that workers were not paid their wages.

According to Shein, two factories in China were found to be working more than the legal limit. Shein says that the company is giving factories until the end of the year to correct the problem.

Reports that wages were not paid to workers were not true.

According to the company, the fifteen million dollars will be spent over the next three to four years. Shein says it will bolster training for factories to make sure they comply with laws and regulations. Shein didn't say what improvements would be made or how they would benefit workers.

Shein's constant stream of product releases and bargain bin prices catapulted the company to a $100 billion valuation earlier this year, but that has dropped since. The company takes fast fashion and puts it into overdrive, making clothing and accessories quicker and cheaper than brands like H&M.
