Last year, India halted eVisas for entry to the country and demanded that all applications for UK nationals be made in person.

The eVisa service will once again be available for UK nationals travelling to India, according to the High Commission of India.

The visa website will soon be ready to accept applications from the UK, as a system upgrade is under way.

The UK wasn't put back on to the eVisa list in the year 2021.

The Indian High Commissioner said in the video that eVisas would be available to you. A good winter season is what we are anticipating.

eVisas have been restored and now cover all of the eligible countries. All valid eVisas can now be used to enter the country.

India has been a popular destination for Cox & Kings and A&K guests for a long time.

Millions of UK bookings were at risk after the high commission introduced interim measures to speed up the visa application process. The service is still operating.
