A Nike spokesman told Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic that Irving is no longer with the company.

After he shared an antisemitic film on social media, Nike suspended its relationship with the veteran guard.

Nike condemned any form of antisemitism and said there was no place for hate speech. The situation and its impact on everyone makes us sad.

The launch of the game was canceled after it was originally scheduled for November 8.

Phil Knight said in an interview that the relationship with Irving was probably over.

"I don't think we'll go back," Knight said. It's easy. We ended the relationship because of the statements he made. I was okay with that.

Irving has been with Nike since 2011. His endorsement deal was set to end in October of 2023.
