Gen V shows us that college students are just as violent as the grown ups from The Boys. The show takes us to Vought International's Godolkin University, a college that specializes in educating the next generation of superhumans, where it appears the students are getting a head start on all of the murder and havoc wreaked by established heroes like Homelander.
The characters from The Boys will be making guest appearances on the show. There is a new cast in Gen V, which features a number of familiar faces.
The first look at the upcoming Amazon series is a bit thin in regards to plot or characters, but this should be reassuring to fans of The Boys. Along with a shot of a character who looks as though they have been in a vat of blood, we also see puppets that have been disemboweled. It's nice.
The show will premiere on Prime Video before the fourth season of The Boys, but we don't know an official release date.
