The "Ticket to Paradise" star adjusted the back of his wife's gown as he and his wife posed for photographers at a star-laden event in Washington, DC, on Saturday.
Clooney was photographed bending down to unfold the train of the dress while his wife smiled awkwardly at the camera. He is seen with his hands in the air as he admires the work he has done.
According to Vogue, the legal professional's gown featured an off-the- shoulder neckline and a long sweeping train. She wore a red clutch and heels.
Her husband wore a black tuxedo for the occasion.
George doesn't just fix her dresses, but also fixes everything for their five-year-old twins, according to Amal.
"They're 5, so right now, I'm golden," George said when asked what his children thought of him.
They say Papa can fix everything but the weather, and he is the funniest person they have ever met.
The couple, who have been married for two years, attended the awards ceremony to see the "Gravity" actor receive a lifetime achievement award.
The Kennedy Center honors five people every year in December for their contributions to American culture.
"Growing up in a small town in Kentucky, I could never have imagined that one day I would be sitting in the balcony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts," Clooney said.
