Bill Ackman said his comments on Bankman- Fried were misinterpreted.

Bankman-Fried denied committing fraud at the New York Times DealBook Summit.

I made a lot of bad decisions. I want to be able to do things over again. Bankman-Fried told Andrew Ross Sorkin that he never tried to commit fraud. He denied commingling funds between the FTX exchange and Alameda.

"Call me crazy, but I think he's telling the truth," Ackman said on his verified account.

Ackman walked back on his comments on Saturday, saying he wasn't defending or supporting Bankman-Fried. There could be nothing further from the truth.

Bankman-Fried resigned as CEO on the same day that FTX filed for Chapter 11 protection. Bankman- Fried was on a media apology tour after the collapse.

The Department of Justice is investigating the collapse of FTX. Bankman- Fried was interviewed by the police in the country.
