Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed after Sunday's 54-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts that star running backs didn't start because of a discipline issue.

The issue was not a big deal, according to Jones.

Jerry Jones said Zeke Elliott not starting tonight was related to some sort of disciplinary matter during the week — not a major deal, he said it was like a phone going off in a meeting or something of that nature.

In addition to rushing for 77 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries, he also caught three passes for 14 yards.

There was a pretty awesome celebration after the touchdown byElliott.

In nine games, the running back had rushed for 577 yards and seven touchdown and caught eight passes for 40 yards. He and Tony Pollard are two of the best running backs in the National Football League.

The Cowboys won their ninth game of the season with the victory. The Houston Texas will be their next opponent.
