When asked if the quarterback should be in the running for the Most Valuable Player award, Taylor said he should.

Taylor agreed.

In a statement, he added to his growing list of credentials. It was the first time that a quarterback had beaten a K.C. quarterback. Tom Brady is the only other quarterback to have won that many games.

Ja'Marr Chase was in agreement with his coach about the award.

Chase said that he was one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Everyone is aware of that. He should be in the running for the award. He should be if he isn't in it. There is a quarterback in the race.

The quarterback was 25-of-31 and had two touchdown passes.

Cincinnati was behind Kansas City by a touchdown at the start of the fourth quarter, but things started to go their way. The offense went to work after GermainePratt stripped the ball out of Kelce's grip.

Cincinnati went on a 10-play drive, capped by an 8-yard touchdown pass from Burrow to Evans, to tie the game at 24. It was the most passing scores by a quarterback in the fourth quarter of the season.

Taylor praised the pass protection on the day. The quarterback was not sacked on 27 of his pass attempts.

The third year player was slippery. He had a career-high 11 carries and had a touchdown. He is tied with Jack Thompson for the most rushing touchdown by a Cincinnati quarterback in a single season.

Frank Clark said that he has a lot of size and elusiveness. People don't pay much attention to his name when it comes to his pocket presence.

Kansas City's 14-game winning streak in the month of December was snapped by Taylor when he put the ball in the hands of the quarterback.

Cincinnati was going to run the ball to chew up some time, according to the wide receiver. The receiver asked the quarterback if he wanted to run or pass.

"He said, 'pass,'" he said. All of us looked at one another. He told them to get it done.

That's what the Bengalers did. The 14-yard completion was the end of the game.

Both of Cincinnati's victories against Kansas City were won on field goals. The winning margin was larger against the top team in the region.

Taylor and his teammates talked about the Most Valuable Player.

"I don't play the game for that kind of recognition," he stated. I play the game for those guys. I will do what it takes from me on Sundays. I'll be happy if I have to give the ball away 72 times.

In the fourth quarter, Burrow ranked third in the NFL.

Big plays were delivered when Cincinnati needed them against a good team.

"He's playing at the level we need for him to lead us, to be confident that we can win every game we play," Taylor said. I have said it before. I wouldn't swap him for anyone else.
