'Sesame Street' Veteran Bob McGrath Dead at 90

One of the original humans on 'Sesame Street' has died according to his family.

The actor's family wrote on his official Facebook page that he had died. The father of our father, Bob, died today. His family was by his side when he died.

He made his first appearance on the show in the 1960's. He worked in an additional 47 seasons after playing himself in the pilot of the show. He didn't act on 'Sesame Street' for a year.

He provided educational lessons for children through his interactions with the puppets, as well as bringing a musical element to the show.

In recent years, Bob stopped appearing on-camera for 'Sesame Street', but he still worked for the company as an advocate.

Bob starred in a lot of 'Sesame Street' productions over the years. He was a cast member on the show for a long time. His family is survived by his wife and children.

The person was 90 years old. I am sad.
