Image for article titled All hail Hypnotoad: TCU is still in

The purpose of the article is to help my Dad, who cannot see his hand in front of him because of his SEC bias. He and other like him need to be de-brainwashed so that they can reintegrate into society.

It's time for the Horned Frogs to rest. The playoffs are on. The playoff committee will announce its top four after this, so don't worry.

Alabama doesn't have a case. It won't be enough to justify leaving TCU out of the playoffs. You can blame me if I'm wrong.

Regardless of the results of the conference championship games, Georgia and Michigan would be in. The loss of USC made sure that they were out. The committee ranked Ohio State fifth last week. The order in which Ohio State and Alabama play this weekend is set.

Two teams were knocked out of the top four. With USC being one, and having already established that Georgia and Michigan are locks, that's all that's left. It would have been worse for Alabama to lose by a large margin than it would have been for them to lose by a small margin. That didn't come to pass. They lost the Big 12 title game by a field goal.

There are some reasons why Alabama should make it and why they aren't taken seriously.

Alabama lost two games on the final play. One game was lost on the final play. It was in overtime, that's right. When the final rankings come out, Alabama might be ranked higher than the Kansas State team that lost to them.

Earlier in the season, Kansas State was defeated by the Horned Frogs. Alabama can't say which teams they defeated. It's weird that the games happened in such a way. It wouldn't have been a question if USC had won the conference title game. They may have done themselves a disservice by not saving their win. Alabama did not make it to a conference championship game because they did not care about conference titles.

There is a pillow fight conference. The conference has Alabama's best win, which was at Texas. The Longhorns lost to the Frogs by 7 on the same field.

The eye test is code for "I can't justify this decision but I'm making it anyway." The committee wouldn't put themselves in the position of having to explain to Rece Davis that Alabama was the better team.

“I understand why some fans may be upset, Rece. I realize Alabama has more losses and their best win was by 1 point over a team TCU beat by 7, and they didn’t make it to their conference championship game, but the eye test clearly showed…”

The thing is not happening. I don't think they'll fall to 4 but they'll play in the semi-finals. Don't make an argument for Alabama or worry about Texas Christian University.
