It has a perch big enough for a few birds and a roof to keep things dry. It is possible to refill the hinged roof. Just slide it open to one side and fill it up.

The Birdfy is portable, so it's great for renters. I attached it to my balcony railing with the included strap, but the company shows it strapped to trees. The solar panel can be added for an additional $25. It's worth it to not have to charge a battery.

Depending on where the camera is located, you can use it as an additional security measure. When little birdy ears are nearby, I recommend not setting off the alarm siren. You can live chat through the brand's app.

It's for the birds.

There is a lack of a big one in the Birdfy. The Birdfy gives you a lifetime of free identification. If you choose the Birdfy lite for $200, you get video only, with the option to add artificial intelligence later for $5 a month. $50 for forever artificial intelligence sounds great to me, but that identification has a long way to go

There are a few other doves that stop by as well. Birdfy calls a bird something else when it identifies it in one shot. You can see in the photos that the bird is the same one as a house finch and a pine Siskin. I can understand the confusion because these birds look the same. Sometimes Netvue was able to identify a dove as a Cardinal. As you can see in the picture, the sun may have caused a reddish blur in the picture. This is the most expensive marketing feature.
