The press room was being used while the coach of the Southern team was being interviewed. Martin had to stand against the wall as Dooley finished speaking. The room was so packed that he was not able to open the door and leave.
"I would like for you to hear it from me and not anyone else," said the coach, who has a 27-5 record in three seasons. You can either be elevated or terminated if you are a coach. It's no other way. If a coach dies at the place, you can either walk off on your own or be run off. There is only one way to go about things. Next year, I will accept the job in another location. I will finish what we began. We are going to dominate and I will be here until that conclusion.

The member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame is not tired of fighting. He talked about how he believed he was summoned to Jackson State. He wondered why he had to play for five football teams when he was so dominant. He didn't think that made sense.
God would allow him to play for five football teams and four baseball teams because he took you from faith to faith. It isn't supposed to happen that way. He has a calling on my life. I think I need to do something about it.
