Andrew Anglin is one of America's most notorious neo-Nazis. The Daily Stormer's creator was banned from social media for over a decade. His return would appear to be part of Musk's offer to users who had not broken the law. A court order to pay 14 million dollars for leading a harassment campaign against Jews in Montana has Anglin hiding.

After regaining control of his account, Anglin wrote a defense of Ye. Anglin said that saying you love Hitler is not that important. Nobody cares about that. The man died a long time ago. Ye denied that the Holocaust had ever happened in an interview with Alex Jones. Anglin endorsed Ye's campaign for president.

A photo of the Star of David merged with a swastika was the subject of a suspension by the social media site. Following the takeover of the company by Musk, Anglin is one of a few prominent white nationalists to return to the social networking site. A software engineer thinks that since October 27th, there have been as many as 12,000 restored accounts.

Civil rights groups, advertisers and governments are likely to be concerned by the return of an avowed neo-Nazi. The billionaire said hate speech impressions had recently decreased. The Center for Countering Digital Hate, the Anti-Defamation League, and other groups studied online platforms and found that there had been a dramatic increase in hate speech since Musk took over.
