The trailer for The Last of Us shows off the dynamic between the two leads as they travel through a post- apocalyptic US in the midst of a zombie outbreak. It gives a more in-depth look at the dangers the two come across, as well as a glimpse at the infections themselves.
The series is similar to the Sony game of the same name, where the player is trying to find a cure for the disease. There are two scenes in the trailer showing Storm Reid as Riley and Nick Offerman as Bill. At the end of the trailer, we see a bunch of barnacle-covered beings crawling up from a fire pit and heading towards the camera.
The show seems to have stayed true to the design of the zombies and did a great job casting, which makes it seem more promising. If you watch the trailer closely, you will see that the voice actress for the game is also the mother of the player.
Craig and Neil are the creators of Chernobyl. On January 15th, 2023, it lands on the pay per view channel.
