The first full trailer for The Witcher: Blood Origin shines a spotlight on the main characters played by Sophia Brown, Laurence O'Fuarain, andMichelle Yeoh. The return of Joey Batey's Jaskier is a surprise at the end of the show.

The bard's return doesn't make sense yet, but it might have something to do with the giant monoliths included in the trailer that are causing tears between worlds. At the end of the trailer, a disheveled-looking Jaskier asks a character named Seanchai, who is described as a "shape shifting collector of old lore with the ability to travel between time and worlds", to "sing".

The new trailer shows the full team of misfits that must come together to fight an unstoppable empire, as well as giving us a glimpse at Lenny Henry as the leader of the group. The series will feature the works of Yeoh, Brown, and O'Fuarain.

The four-part series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, will be available on the internet in December of 2022. The third season of the mainline series is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2023. The show has been renewed for a fourth season, but there will be a major casting change that will see Liam Hemsworth replace Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
