Poster for HBO's Los Espookys.

Los Espookys will not be returning for a third season. Westworld will not be returning for another season of episodes.

The show's end comes as the co- creator and star of the show has moved on to other projects and the other stars have moved on to other work. This imaginative and delightfully bizarre world they created was thanked in a statement. We would love to work with the cast and crew in the future, even though we aren't planning on a third season at the moment.

Los Espookys followed a group of friends played by Torres, Febrega and Bernado Velasco. Four fans of horror movies plan to make a business out of their love for the genre by creating scenarios from horror movies and trying to convince people those are real. It was described as a very weird show and received a lot of positive feedback.

It had a long gap between seasons because of the COVID Pandemic. The second season of the show only aired a few months ago, and it didn't help that it was at a time slot that was late in the evening. Friday nights can be hit or miss, but a slot as late as that certainly didn't help matters. It is a shame that Los Espooks was canned the way it was because it felt like a show that was constantly fighting to get noticed.

At the very least, he will work with the company. The comedy Little Films and the coming-of-age story Lucky are both being developed by him.
