Target’s big annual gift card sale is this weekend

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over, but the deals are still going strong. There will be a Target gift card sale this weekend. Target gift cards are 10% off in-store and online for a limited time.

• Offer excludes reloads of previously purchased Target gift cards and cards given in exchange for electronic or prepaid trade-ins, cards provided for merchandise returns and cards provided as free promotional cards with qualifying purchase.

Smaller denominations of gift cards can be purchased for up to 500 dollars. You can buy a $500 Target gift card for $450 and earn 1,350 Ultimate rewards points by using the Freedom Flex card. If you have a Chase Ultimate rewards card, you will earn 2,250 points, which is worth $45 according to the valuations. There is a total of 95 in savings and earnings. If you are going to spend those dollars over the next few weeks and months, this is a good thing.

Gift card purchases are typically excluded from earning cash back, so going through a shopping portal is a good idea.
