Steele warned that the next Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives would be a woman.
Steele noted on Friday that if Kevin McCarthy is elected the chamber's next Speaker in January, he will have enormous sway over the rest of the GOP caucus.
He predicted that she would be the most powerful Speaker of the House because she would be able to control what Kevin said.
Steele said that he just called it what it is.
It's the thing, you call it shadow. It's the job, because what you can't do is drag her to your events and tell her we're going to put you back in committee. Don't worry, come on.
The Democratic-led House stripped her of her committee assignments last year because of her embrace of anti-Semitic and racist conspiracy theories.
Following the GOP's razor-thin flipping of the House in the 2022, it is widely expected that she will be reinstalled on committees.
