Norman Reedus is the star of the series from The Walking Dead. The cult icon is reprising his role in the zombie universe that won't die.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the new show will follow Daryl as he wakes up and tries to find out what happened. How did he make it here? How is he going to come back?
Somehow, he will end up in France, after he was last seen riding off into the distance on his bike. A few blanks were filled in by a scene from the finale of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, in which a scientist working in an abandoned French lab is shot after watching videos of the first season of The Walking Dead The zombie variant was a plot point in the Walking Dead's final season.
Reedus said it was a very different feeling. He said that it has the stuff that you want from the show, but it has become something else. It is a reset after 12 years of doing a show and there are certain paths that you inevitably have to go down. Over there, we don't have that. It's a fresh start for us, with all the things we loved doing, and a lot more.
The Walking Dead's director and executive producer is back as well. Greg is a story teller. He knows how to find the in between moments that make a difference. He knows how to find those things. Reedus said that the history in the show made it an asset.
So who is prepared for Eurotrip: Zombie Edition? There is no word on when the new series will be on AMC.
