Georgia man arrested for shooting boy campaigning for Sen. Warnock in runoff election against Walker

Police said the teen was campaigning for Raphael Warnock when the incident occurred.

The teen was struck by a shot through the closed door of the residence on Hartridge Street.

A boy was taken to a hospital.

Jimmy Paiz was found at the residence by police.

According to police, Paiz was arrested and charged with two felonies.

The senator said in a statement that he was sad to learn about the incident. I am praying for the victims and their family.

The incident is being investigated by police.

He was being held in lieu of a bond.
