The school district, law enforcement and first responders are being sued for $27 billion by survivors of the Ulvade school shooting. According to multiple reports, a class-action lawsuit was filed by parents, teachers and students who say they were present on the day of the shooting and are looking for damages. The survivors say that law enforcement took 77 minutes to fulfill their duty. According to the lawsuit, the survivors claim that the law enforcement officials did not do enough to respond to the school shooting. On May 24th, 19 children and 2 teachers were shot to death at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. Video showing police retreating from the shooter sparked outrage from families and school staff. The teacher blamed first responders for not acting fast enough. The 80-page investigative report issued by Texas lawmakers in July identified what went wrong that day.
