The video got a lot of attention after Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving shared a link to it on his social media accounts.

Jassy said that Amazon should allow access to controversial viewpoints. "As a retailer of content to hundreds of millions of customers with a lot of different viewpoints, we have to allow access to those viewpoints even if they are objectionable," he said.

Jassy said that Amazon needs to be consistent with its policies. It is more straightforward to take the media down if it encourages violence or teaches people to do pedophilia.

Jassy said that customers do a good job of warning other people when there is a lot of media attention. Jassy expressed confidence in customer reviews playing a role in how the video is perceived, according to the Times.
