The official trailer for the movie is out. It looks like the movie is going to be a lot of fun. The planet is filled with bipedal aliens with animal faces. There will be a giant spiral thing in space for theGuardians. I'm curious.
The director of the first two movies is back for the third one. Less than a year later, he was rehired after being fired over offensive social media posts. Given that he was recently appointed the new co-CEO of DC Studios, it is likely that this will be his last film as a director. Many familiar faces from the previous films are returning, including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.
You should get ready for the next chapter. There is a new holiday special on Disney Plus. I haven't watched it yet, but my colleague Andrew says it feels like a preview to the next movie.
