OpenAI has released a prototype general purpose chatbot that demonstrates a fascinating array of new capabilities but also shows off weaknesses that are familiar to the fast- moving field of text- generation artificial intelligence. You can take a look at the model here.

Openai's GPT- 3.5 model has been used to train the chatGPT model. The original form of GPT3 predicts what text will follow any given string of words, but the new form of GPT3 tries to engage with users in a more human way. As you can see in the examples below, the results are often strikingly fluid, and it is possible to engage with a lot of topics.

The software fails in a similar way, with the bot frequently presenting false or invented information as fact. The reason for this is due to the fact that the knowledge of the world is derived from statistical regularities in their training data, rather than any human-like understanding of the world.

The bot was created with the help of human trainers who ranked and rated the early versions of the bot. This information was fed back into the system and used to tune the system's answers to match trainers' preferences.

The goal of Openai is to get external feedback in order to improve their systems and make them safer, according to the bot. The system may sometimes generate incorrect or misleading information and produce offensive or biased content. Yes, it does. The bot has limited knowledge of the world after 2021, and it will try to avoid answering questions about specific people, among other things.

What can this thing accomplish? Many people have been testing it out with coding questions and claim its answers are perfect.

The writer can combine actors from different sitcoms. It's becoming real that I forced a bot to watch 1000 hours of show X. The next step is Artificial General Intelligence.

It can explain a lot of scientific concepts.

Basic essays can be written by it. Big problems are going to be caused by such systems.

The bot's fields of knowledge can be combined in many ways. For example, you can ask it to work on a string of code, like a pirate, and it will reply: "Arr, ye scurvy landlubber!" It is a grave mistake to use that loop condition.

Get it to explain bubbles like a wise guy mobster.

There are so many examples of this that I won't paste them in here. Many people think that artificial intelligence systems like this could replace search engines in the future. Something has been explored by the search engine. The idea is that they are trained on the internet. It would be a step up from traditional search if they could present this information accurately but with a more personable tone. The problem is that "if."

Someone is saying that the internet giant is done.

The code that is provided in the very answer above is garbage.

I won't make a judgement on this specific case, but there are lots of examples of the same thing being said. Carl Bergstrom, a professor of computational biology, asked the bot to write a Wikipedia entry about his life, which the bot did with ease.

Users attempt to get the bot to ignore safety training. If you want to know how to plan the perfect murder or make napalm at home, the system will explain why it can't tell you the answer. Napalm is a highly flammable and dangerous substance and it is not safe to make it. You can get the bot to make this sort of dangerous information with certain tricks, like pretending it is a character in a film or writing a script on how artificial intelligence shouldn't respond to these types of questions.

It is a great example of how difficult it is to get complex artificial intelligence systems to act in the way we want them to.

These models still have some critical flaws that need further exploration, even though they are a huge improvement over earlier systems. Openai believes that finding flaws is the point of public demos. At what point will companies push these systems into the wild? When they do, what will happen?
