Deshaun Watson declines to answer non-football-related questions (1:21)

After serving an 11-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy, Deshaun was advised to only address football questions in his first media conference. There is a time and a place for it.

In his first interview in four months, the Cleveland quarterback refused to answer any non- football questions.

You guys have a lot of questions, I understand. There are only football questions I can address with my legal team and clinical team.

The league's personal conduct policy states that if a player commits sexual assault on a massage therapist, they will be suspended for 11 games.

More than two dozen women have accused him of sexual assault.

There are still two civil lawsuits outstanding. A number of lawsuits against him were settled earlier this year.

As part of a settlement between the league and the union, he had to pay a $5 million fine and go through a treatment program.

When asked why he agreed to the 11-game suspension, he said he was just trying to play football. The majority of the settlement with the NFL was done by my agency and legal team. I didn't have control. I was focused on doing everything I could to play.

There were two grand juries in Texas that didn't indict him.

In his last interview, in August, he denied any wrongdoing and said people didn't want to hear his side of the story. "Who knows what the future holds," he said when asked if he still wanted to tell his story.

He wouldn't say what he had learned from the league mandated counseling.

He said it was more in the phase of clinical and legal things. I have been told to stay away from that. I'm focused on the game. I'm focused on football and preparing to be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns so I can execute the game plan to get a win.

It will be 700 days since he last played in a regular-season game when he returns to Houston.

The Texans received three first-round draft picks as part of the trade. The richest contract in the history of the league was signed by the Cleveland Indians.

About 10 of Tony Buzbee's clients were going to attend the game with him.

They wanted to make sure that they were clear that they mattered.

The atmosphere he will encounter in Houston is not something that he is concerned about.

He said he's focused on being the starting quarterback and executing the game plan. My main focus is that.
