LeBron James Goes Off On Reporters Over Jerry Jones Photo, Why No Kyrie-Like Reaction?

After the Lakers' win on Wednesday night, James criticized the media for not asking about the racial controversy surrounding Jerry Jones, while wondering why they were so quick to ask about the Irving drama.

The NBA star reprimanded himself after the reporters had finished questioning him about L.A.'s win.

Before you guys leave, I have a question for you. I was wondering why I hadn't gotten a question about the Jerry Jones photo when I was over here.

The 1957 picture shows the Dallas Cowboys owner as a teenager standing with a group of white classmates who were trying to prevent six black students from entering an Arkansas school.

James continued, "You guys were quick to ask us questions about that, and I want to keep the same energy when we're talking."

When we do something wrong, or something that people don't agree with, it's on every single tabloid, every single news coverage, it's on the bottom ticker. Every day, it's asked.

He came under fire after he posted a link to an antisemitic film. The Brooklyn Nets guard was suspended for eight games for refusing to apologize for his actions. He said his former teammate caused some harm to a lot of people, but that the punishment was too much.

The photo of Jones was published by The Washington Post. While denying any involvement in barring the black students from the school, the 80 year old has avoided any punishment from the NFL. He said he was interested in what was happening around him.

If you think I don't know how monumental those days were, it's a misinterpretation for me.

James stopped liking the Cowboys because of Jones' stance on kneeling during the anthem.
