England should be feared by other nations at the World Cup because of their quality.

The Three Lions will face off against Senegal on Sunday in the last 16 of the tournament, with a spot in the quarter-finals at stake.

England's "world-class talent" and the squad's trophy-winning experience with their clubs make them formidable opponents, according to Rice.

"Why shouldn't we be feared?" asked the West Ham United captain.

We have world-class talent. There are players who have won the biggest prizes.

We have to prove that. France is one of the countries that have done that. We don't just want to get into the last 16; we want to go all the way.

England's players played in the World Cup and the European Championship last year.

Rice admits that England's manager faces a "selection headaches" for the game against Senegal with a number of players vying for two starting places.

He says the squad is behind whoever gets the nod.

The group is supportive of each other and that's what makes it great.

Everyone will be rooting for the manager to pick the right one. The effort is a team effort.

The competition is top level, it's nice to know you can bring players on that can change the game.

We have world class players that can do that. It's necessary in a World Cup.

I would do anything to win the world cup. That's all that matters if someone comes on and helps. All of us have the same goal.

England went into the World Cup on the back of a six- match winless run.

They beat Iran and Wales and had a goalless draw with the US.

As England prepare for the high stakes of the knockout stage, Rice says he is confident in the camp.

Our mentality is great. He said that the players have brought that mentality to England.

The manager's way of talking to us is also important. He's cool. He says that England is just as big as anyone else and can achieve anything. Anything is possible when you have a good manager.

I remember thinking in the dressing room that there was no way we were going to lose against Germany.

That's what takes you all the way.
