Christine McVie was a member of the band. Christine passed away peacefully at hospital this morning after a short illness, according to a statement from her family. She was in a group of people. We kindly ask that you respect the family's privacy, and we would like everyone to remember the life of an incredible human being, and revered musician who was loved universally. Christine joined the group in 1970 and was a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Christine left the band due to her fear of flying and panic attacks. After several years of retirement, she released a solo album. Christine rejoined the band before they went on tour. There are no words to express our sadness at the passing of Christine McVie. She was a one-of-a-kind talent. She was the best drummer in the band and the best friend anyone could have. We were fortunate to have a life together. We are grateful for the amazing memories we have with Christine. She's going to be very missed. Christine talked to us about the future of the band and if they would ever get back together. Christine was older than 80. I am sad.
