Many ways to engage with each other have been tried by Bumble. Today, Bumble launched a message-before-match feature called " Compliments," which allows users to send a note before they connect.

There is a limit on the number of Compliments a user can send. Premium members get a perk of seeing Compliments on the user's main Encounters page. Upon opening the app, users will receive notifications for unread Compliment messages.

The purpose of the feature is for users to stand out and be intentional about starting the conversation in a positive way. Sending a compliment to a potential match is a nice bonus for users.

The what and why of dating is answered by compliment. What makes a person interesting? Why do you want to know more about that person? There is no better way to begin a relationship than with that in mind. It is easy to compliment someone you see on their profile.

There are other recently launched features like Recommend to a friend, which lets users share a Bumble profile with their friends, and Bantr Live, a weekly experience where users connect with a potential match via chat without seeing what they look like.

There is a message before the match. A feature of the dating app is that it gives users a few seconds to chat. The Super Like feature allows users to attach a note with their liking, and the potential match can read it before they decide.
