Mike White is expected to be the starting quarterback for the New York Jets for at least the next two games.
According to Jeremy Fowler, the Jets are expected to stick with White for the road games against the Vikings and Bills.
Even though it would seem like a given that White would be the Jets' starter going forward, Fowler did note thatSaleh is operating on a week-to-week basis.
White started in Week 12. In the victory over the Bears, he was 22-of-28 for 315 yards and three touchdown.
White had three touchdown passes in the previous six games.
Wilson is at a point in his life where he needs to make a decision. He has completed 55.6% of his attempts for 3,613 yards with 13 touchdown and 16 pick ups.
If the Jets weren't in the playoffs right now, Wilson might have been allowed to play to see if he could make it.

If the bottom fell out for White at some point, it wouldn't be a big deal. In his first career start, he went 37 of 45 for 405 yards, three touchdown and two picks to lead the Jets to a 34-31 victory.
White was hurt against the Colts. He threw four picks in the loss to the Bills.
On a week-to-week basis, is the best approach to finding the hot hand at quarterback. No one will care if White is out for a couple of weeks or if Wilson is out for a couple of weeks.
The Jets own the last wild card spot in the conference. The Bills and Dolphins are in the same division.
