There is a chance that we will get to see the next flagship phones from the company in a couple of months. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, an anonymous company executive says that the first week of February will be when the new devices will be released. The lineup will be revealed by February next year, according to a previous report by Chosun. The flagship phones will be launched at an Unpacked event in the US, according to the executive.

The launch dates for the previous flagships are consistent with the timelines reported by the publications. The new addition to the lineup, the S22 Ultra, is a phone that combines the S and Note lines and comes with a pen slot.

According to previous reports, the next S series flagship might not use the Exynos chips that are used for the European and Asian versions. Instead, they may go all in on the chips. There are some unofficial renders that suggest that the camera bumps on the S23 and S23 Plus are going to be removed.

The S23 phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, according to the CFO of the company. Inflation, as well as other factors, are expected to make the upcoming lineup more expensive than its predecessors.
