According to a report from Korea JoongAng Daily, the next flagship phone lineup will be announced in the first week of February of next year. The S23 series will be shown during the Unpacked event in the US in February, according to an unnamed executive. It is thought that the event is in San Francisco.
Korean outlet Chosun reported a February launch date earlier this month, in line with previous reports about the device. In February of 2020 and February of 2022, both the S22 and S20 were released, but in January of 2021, the S21 was released.
The February launch of the S22 is similar to the one in February.
The S23 and S23 Plus could have a similar look to this year's S22 Ultra if leaked renders are to be believed. The S23 Ultra is expected to feature less design changes than the S22 Ultra but could get an upgraded main camera with a higher resolution. The three phones are expected to be powered by the most powerful processor in the world.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the wave of inflation that has swept multiple countries around the world this year will likely affect the price of the new phones.
