From December, Korean Air will deploy the first of its two 321neos. It is the first Korean airline to offer fully lie-flat seats in business class on a narrowbody plane.
The A320 Family aircraft is a single-aisle narrowbody with a total of 182 seats and will mostly operate on short-haul routes.
Inflight internet, a sophisticated cabin interior, and advanced personal inflight entertainment systems will be provided by the A321neo.
Korean Air is delighted to receive its first A321neo, which will be a great asset to the company. The award-winning Airspace cabin and fully lieflat business class seats will be added to the A321neo.
Korean Air will benefit from enhanced operational efficiency and the highest levels of in-flight comfort thanks to the addition of the A321neo. The per-seat fuel improvements of the A321neo will allow Korean Air to reduce its operating costs and emissions at the same time.
A total of 182 seats will be offered by Korean Air on its new model.
The airline will be the first in the world to offer 180 degree flat-bed seats.
The A321neo's fully lie-flat business seats will provide seamless comfort to transfer passengers, who have itineraries of long-haul flights on the Americas and Europe routes, and short-haul flights on Southeast Asia, China and Japan routes.
The business class seats have a 44 cm personal monitor for audio and video on demand, as well as a wireless phone charge.
The largest personal monitor in the airline's narrowbody fleet can be found in Economy Class. There are coat hooks for each seat.
The Airspace cabin on the A321neo is the first of its kind in Asia.
The inflight services of the airline are enhanced by the Airspace. When welcoming passengers aboard, serving inflight meals and cruising, its unique lighting system set the right atmosphere.
Passengers have more space to store their carry-on baggage with the overhead bins.
In the first half of next year, the A321neo will have inflight internet. The airline will add internet services to new aircraft. The airline will get a total of 30 aircraft in the next ten years.
