The steam deck will be shipping to Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan on December 17th. Customers who pre-ordered will start getting requests to finalize their orders on December 1st.
Delivery times for the first units in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan will vary from a few days to a few weeks, according to Valve.
The price of the steam deck in Japan is between 59,800 and 99,800, depending on the model you choose. These new regions have full starting prices.
HK$ 3,289 in Hong Kong, KRW 589,000 in Korea, and NT$ 13,380 in Taiwan.
Komodo now offers reservations for the steam deck docking station, with free shipping for those that pre-order before December 17th. Here is the full price for the docking station in the new regions.
In Hong Kong, the price was HK$ 832, in Korea it was 149,000, and in Taiwan it was 3,280.
Japan could be a big market for the steam deck. Huge swaths of the population commute in and out of major cities every day by rail and handhelds have become particularly popular in Japan.
Anyone who purchases the handheld can get it delivered within a couple of weeks.
