The Costa Rica - Germany match will be the first men's World Cup match in which an all-women refereeing team will be in charge.

Frappart, the fourth official for the Poland - Mexico Group C clash last week, will be the main referee as she reaches another milestone after being the first female to adjudicate at a men's World Cup qualification match.

Every team can make it to the round of 16 in the World Cup.

The French woman will be joined by two other people.

There are two other people taking part in the tournament.

In addition, Frappart has been in charge of games in the men's World Cup qualification, as well as the men's Supercup final between Manchester United and Barcelona.
